Farmstead App
Farmstead is an app that connects people with local farmers and producers through authentic food & farming focused experiences. It lets users discover and book things to do at farms around the world.
Summary
This project was a personal inspiration and part of a 10 week User Experience design course at General Assembly in San Francisco. The app lets users discover and book authentic experiences at farms as they plan their weekend getaways and look for things to do in the countryside.
To do that the app focuses on 1. discovery of experiences at local farms, 2. making it easy to navigate the local countryside without a ton of local knowledge, using the app as a guide, and 3. booking experiences (whether it's a meal, overnight stay, or just a class) with local farmers who generally tend to be unreliable and hard to reach.
My Role
I worked on this project from ideation, all the way through wireframing, prototyping, and final designs. I also used user research, competitive analysis, and personas as part of the final project delivery.
